In an age where technology and DIY culture has facilitated creative outlets, the independent musical artist now has opportunities that a mere 15 years ago would have seemed out of reach. Yet many artists find it hard to manage their own production, promotion, distribution and/or lack the necessary networks to gain traction in their careers. In 2012 songwriter/producer Rob Jimenez founded Anchor Music Company with the goal of helping independent artist overcome these challenges and bring their projects to fruition. With a growing network of producers, recording studios, videographers and partnerships with first tier distributors such as The Orchard Music (part of Sony Music), Anchor Music Company aims to cultivate emerging musical talent and help develop it into its full potential.
